Wall to Wall - Goormabat

About 15 minutes drive out of Benalla is Goormabat the site of the Uniting church and the Silos.
Due to the success of the satellite site at Winton Wetlands in 2016 which was painted by artist Guido Van Helten, (Brim Silo) for 2017 they  gave  another reason to get out and about and explore the  region.
The small farming town of Goorambat's Uniting Church in which Artist Adnate, who has long been inspired by the works and artists of the renaissance period, in 2017 created his own work inspired by the era inside the church.
A tiny church with the work on the altar wall.

This year Goorambat was home to Dvate working on 2 silos.
He is known for his striking renditions of endangered animals from across Australia. Having recently worked with the Melbourne Zoo recently for their newly opened ‘Predators’ enclosure, Dvate has created another monumental artwork depicting an endangered bird of prey from the area.
