The MONA

Museum of Old and New Art is a draw card for Hobart.
Anyone I mentioned I was going to Hobart asked "are you going to the MONA?"
We travelled by Ferry. Not any old boat but the latest in catamaran the MONA Roma
It was really windy day (our flight was cancelled) so I was a bit apprehensive about the mal de mer but it was smooth as silk.
Thirty minutes with great views back to the bridge and a cow and sheep for company

The exhibits were varied and so interesting!!
Some were great others macabre and other weird but all fascinating
Must go again!
The Fat Car
The amazing waterfall the spalls out common words from social media
The Poo!
The entrance with refection. From the R (where you come from the ferry it is just black glass)

Amazing cut sculpture of a truck and wagon
